Huntsman has been located at its present address, No. 11 Savile Row, since 1919. Our famous stags’ heads joined us in 1921 when they were left behind by a customer who popped out to lunch, was whisked away to a party and neglected to return for them. They preside over a handsome open plan shop which carries our full collection of ready-to-wear clothing and accessories, as well as the swatch-books, fabric bolts, fitting rooms and workshops which facilitate our bespoke and made-to-measure services. Our main cutting room with its elegant cutting boards, pattern cloud and brass garment rails sits at the centre of the space, allowing customers to view our craftsmen at work at first hand. Take a virtual tour of No. 11 Savile Row below or make an appointment to visit us.

The rear of the shop plays host to our new club room, a dedicated space reserved for Huntsman customers, which allows for a welcome interlude of relaxation and refreshment between meetings, or indeed fittings – equipped as it is with a bar and Wifi. This space is home to our extensive archive of ledger books, patterns, warrants and photographs, allowing clients a personal insight into the history of the house. It also houses our library of carefully curated cloth bunches, with swatches from the world’s top mills including Dugdale Bros., Smith Woollens, Dormeuil, Scabal and Loro Piana, making it the natural place to thumb through a swatch book or two, and consider a new commission with the help of our front of house team. The club room also houses a permanent display of our exclusive house tweeds and suitings, as well as a unique tweed-covered pool table and backgammon board – perfect to while away a few minutes or mull over a shortlist of possible fabrics. We have even been known to host intimate dinners, talks, luncheons, wine and whisky tastings there – all of which are intended to add that little bit extra to the bespoke experience.

Remarkably, Huntsman served as an inspiration for the film Kingsman: The Secret Service and our fitting room is a faithful reproduction of the fitting area created for the movie, a homage to the unswerving sartorial dedication and polish of the Kingsmen themselves – a polish that we aim to imbue into all of the clothing we create.

Alongside our fitting space, we have one of the largest cutting and tailoring teams on Savile Row. Thus, in addition to our main cutting room, we have a further cutting room and two tailoring workshops on the premises, where our team of over 25 cutters, tailors and apprentices ply their craft. We are one of few bespoke tailoring houses on Savile Row that is still able to produce all of our clothing entirely on site, just as was the case one hundred years ago. We find that this is the best way to ensure that our creations remain of a consistent quality, meeting our exacting standards and those of our clients.
