Campbell took his inspiration from our clients, who modelled the Huntsman style from bespoke to ready-to-wear in our Spring Summer Style video. They are gentlemen of wide-ranging horizons who perfectly embody the spirit and energy of the Huntsman today — a taste for style, a passion for life and creativity, and, of course, a love of good tailoring.
Our first model is Juan Santa Cruz, a world-renowned restaurant owner and connoisseur who left the world of finance some years ago to pursue his passion for fine dining. A Chilean native, with a succession of award-winning establishments in Buenos Aires to his name, he moved to London a few years ago to unveil Notting Hill’s most fashionable restaurant, Casa Cruz. Otis Ferry is our second modern Huntsman. The son of supremely elegant rock star Bryan Ferry and Lucy Helmore, now Birley. Otis features rather regularly on Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed list. This passionate country sportsman and hunter excels as the joint-master of the South Shropshire Hunt, proving himself to be a marvellous model for Huntsman’s equestrian tailoring. As Otis once said with gusto, I am the Huntsman!
Talking of sporting Huntsmen, our third model, Dillon Bacon, was part of the Huntsman polo team that won bronze, silver and gold cups in the famed Sotogrande polo tournament in 2015 with Aristide Faggionato and Felipe Gomez — a first for a team of non-professional gentlemen. Dillon, a Princeton graduate who joined the London ranks of a prestigious investment bank, is a British and American citizen and the epitome of understated achievement. From corporate and sporting success, back to the creative industries: our fourth ambassador is the Japanese musician Tomoyasu Hotei. A leading rock guitarist in Japan, and a composer, singer-songwriter and producer, Hotei has worked with artists such as Iggy Pop, and most notably contributed the unforgettable guitar in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill.
Finally, we have Mr. Alexander Talbot-Rice, a consummate modern British aristocrat, featured here at his bespoke fitting. Talbot-Rice, the famed portrait artist and student of the renowned Repin Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg, is known for his exemplary impressions of British high society. He painted an iconic portrait of Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace and has also painted Margaret Thatcher, Prince Philip and Pope Benedict XVI.
We could think of few better ambassadors to embody what Huntsman brings today to the modern gentleman: effortlessly elegant and comfortable style, whether bespoke or ready-to-wear, for every sartorial occasion.
