Inspired by his love of the Scottish moors, Vogue’s Editor At Large Hamish Bowles created his own Huntsman tweed. Hues of vibrant lilac and fuschia are punctuated with calypso yellow and aquatic blue for a unique cloth which captures beautifully the nuance of this epic landscape.
From his cloth, Hamish had created a striking double-breasted suit as well as a backpack and bespoke laptop case
Based in New York, Hamish enjoyed the convenience of working between the Huntsman team in W57th Street, New York and 11 Savile Row, from initial CAD conception, right through to cloth completion and bespoke suit!
For Hamish, it was the fond memories of a favourite place which inspired him and as with all things born of such fondness, the finished tweed is remarkable, vibrant and completely personal. How will you be inspired? Could it be the colours of a familiar landscape, your school colours, or perhaps a tweed inspired by your favourite work of art? With the tweed experience, anything is possible.
