A Sartorial Season
Just in time for London's summer, Huntsman brings the spirit of the shore to Savile Row for the month of July. To celebrate the season, Huntsman's headquarters' window has a breezy, nautical theme, displaying the house's distinguished summer designs alongside some very special items. The Paddle Board
The focal point of the display is a bespoke mahogany paddleboard that Huntsman's chairman Pierre Lagrange had commissioned from Kevin Fitzke of US company Fitzke Paddleboards. Fashioned in mahogany plywood, the sleek board has its bow painted with one of Huntsman's tweed patterns, for a truly genteel touch on the water. The unique paddleboard was originally part of an auction of Pierre Lagrange's luxury lifestyle pieces that Sotheby's hosted online in May. Amassed over several years and many continents, each auction item was hand-picked from some of the world’s leading companies and artisans, and reflects the ultimate Huntsman lifestyle. Framing the stylish paddleboard in the window are Huntsman's summer sports jackets. This laid-back take on tailoring is made for navigating the season's social circuit, from Wimbledon to the polo to country lunches. Among the designs is the Glencheck sports jacket, in a light weight brown check cloth, alongside the Glenfinnan sports jacket, in a summery blue check.Click the here to shop our collection of summer suiting.
Sunglasses
And in a seasonal touch, the sunglasses collection that Huntsman has designed together with Spanish company Sea2see are displayed in the paddleboard's seat. The designs are fashioned from 100 percent recycled ocean plastic, and styles span the Malibu, with matt brown tortoiseshell frames, to the East Hampton, a vintage-inspired style with brown lenses, silver detailing, and a tortoiseshell frame.
