At Huntsman we are committed to an authentically bespoke experience - every garment is crafted by hand, with no machine manufacturing or external factory involvement. The Hallmark of Quality

Huntsman's women's bespoke service is held to exactly the same standard as our menswear, the same craftsmanship, the same hand-finishing, the same commitment to cut and cloth. What distinguishes it is not its standing but its perspective, designed and led by women, for the female form, from the very first fitting.

For Women, By Women

At Huntsman, your commission is in the hands of Magdalena Handwerker, our Head Ladieswear Cutter and one of the most accomplished women's tailors on Savile Row. With a rare understanding of form, proportion and silhouette, Magdalena brings both the full weight of the Huntsman tradition and a distinctly feminine perspective to every commission she undertakes.

The Process

  • The Bespoke Consultation

At Huntsman, no two commissions are the same, because no two clients are. Whether you are building a working wardrobe, dressing for a significant occasion or adding a singular piece to a collection, every detail is decided with you. The cloth, the cut, the silhouette, the lining, the buttons, the monogram, each one chosen to suit the life it serves. We offer a degree of personalisation that very few houses can.

  • Measurements & Pattern Creation

Once your vision is defined, in the privacy of a Huntsman fitting room, Magdalena, our dedicated Ladieswear Cutter will take over 30 precise body measurements to ensure a flawless fit.

Unlike off-the-rack suits, our bespoke process begins with crafting your own paper pattern - a blueprint drafted to your unique silhouette.

  • At Your First Fitting

At your first fitting, we will have created a basted version of your garment, allowing you to try on before final construction begins. This initial fitting is a vital step in the bespoke tailoring process, ensuring every curve and contour aligns with your body.

At this this stage we will see what adjustments and alterations are required. It is this process separates bespoke tailoring from made-to-measure alternatives; it’s a true expression of artistry, finessed to the nuances of your body.

  • Refinements & Second Fitting

Following your baste fitting, our tailors will completely deconstruct your garment to make the necessary alterations before refining it.

At your second fitting, you'll see a garment that much more closely resembles the finished project. This fitting ensures the adjustments have achieved the perfect look and feel. We fine-tune any additional refinements, perfecting everything from button placement to the flow of the fabric when you move.
