Huntsman is offering the opportunity to engage your imagination, find an outlet for your frustrations, or simply try a new pass-time, inviting you to share your ‘letters from confinement’.
Inspired by Nick Farriella’s satirical fake letter from F. Scott Fitzgerald whilst quarantined in the South of France, Huntsman’s owner Pierre Lagrange reached to celebrated writers and journalists Adam Grant, Alec Russell, Ali Wentworth, Pi’erre Bourne, Cedric the Entertainer, Graydon Carter, Holly Peterson, Jay McInerney, and June Sarpong, as well as Leslie Bennetts, Niall Ferguson, Nick Foulkes, Nick Niarchos, Tara Westover, and Tony Marx who all graciously accepted to form a panel to find the best letters from confinement.
In the days of social distancing, the healing power of sharing emotions with others cannot be underestimated.
Whether you’re like Huntsman forebears Ian Fleming, Gore Vidal, John Richardson, an already commended penman or a budding wordsmith in search of a new creative outlet, share your literary flair with us. We will of course accept anonymous submissions if you prefer. In addition to a £1000/USD1225 gift card to spend in the huntsman e-shop and a stay at Claridge’s hotel, London, and beyond the honour to be selected by such an eminent gathering, the winner will see his letter read live by a surprise guest on Huntsman’s social media and will be published on our website.
