Our Top Tips For Creating Your Design
You've picked your template, so now what?
Here are some helpful hints as how to create a great tweed!
1. The beauty of tweed is all about the balance and proportion of pattern and colour.
Let the template guide you as to where you should focus your core colours, and where you want to accent your design.
2. The best tweed designs come from the heart; once you've found your inspiration- go with it! You can explore and innovate much more easily when you have a decided point of view.
3. The devil is in the detail! Take care in bringing those finer design nuances unique to tweed, and when you think you've done enough: Know when to stop! The most effective tweed isn't always the most elaborate.

Choosing Our Winning Tweed
Huntsman's Creative Director and Head Cutter Campbell Carey will begin by shortlisting his favourite 10 submissions, which he feels meets the brief and reflect the spirit of Huntsman tweeds.
Huntsman will then share these designs for a public vote. You can cast your vote for your favourites, and the three designs with the most votes will be submitted to our judges.
From our three finalist designs, a panel of distinguished judges and industry experts will then decide on our winning tweed.
