Discover Maison Hellard Linen For Spring-Summer 2024

This season, we have created safari jackets, trousers and two signature sports coats; a unique and vibrant sea green sports coat, and a pastel check sports coat. Pastel colours are famously difficult to perfect which undoubtedly contributes to their charm. Our interpretation focuses on the in-between hues that are subtle and soft and a pleasure to wear time and time again.

Elegant linen has become synonymous with Huntsman Spring-Summer collections and is as eagerly anticipated as our tweeds in the winter. From chic sports coats to signature styles of new, easy-to-wear suiting, our commitment to creating the finest quality and design in linen ensures you keep cool and collected throughout the warmer months.

When it comes to clothes, only the best is good enough. For that reason, we partner with the esteemed French Linen House, Maison Hellard. This season, working with them to create safari jackets, trousers and two signature sports coats; a unique and vibrant sea green sports coat, and a pastel check sports coat.

Pastel colours are famously difficult to perfect which undoubtedly contributes to their charm. Whilst improperly balanced summer checks are often associated with bright, audacious shades, our interpretation focuses on in-between hues that are subtle and soft and a pleasure to wear time and time again. Made from the finest linen fibres from Normandy,  these jackets boast a reassuring weight that minimizes creasing and offers exceptional recovery, all while providing the signature soft and fluid hand for which Maison Hellard is renowned.

In order to create this harmonious design, Huntsman’s Creative Director Campbell Carey found inspiration in the naturally occurring colours in Italian marble, working with Maison Hellard to create linen that would feel appropriate anywhere from Florence to right at home in London, and in doing so, capturing a distinctive British elegance that is neither too flamboyant nor too subdued.

Huntsman's house check exemplifies perfect balance, blending these warm, soft shades in a unique composition. Two hues from the archives help inform these designs: a distinct green and an elegant cognac. Paired together, these shades were used to craft the house check.

The green of the seagrass jacket is truly unique to Huntsman, with a dying process not found in any other linen collection. The resulting shade boasts a refreshing vitality and is well paired with classic white trousers, shades of brown and even denim blue.

Also from the Huntsman SS24 collection, you’ll find our herringbone safari jackets and trousers in Maison Hellard linen.
