The Art of the Gesture

An Evening with Parmigiani Fleurier at Huntsman.

Last Wednesday, Huntsman was proud to host an intimate dinner in collaboration with Parmigiani Fleurier, celebrating the shared values that define our two maisons: precision, craftsmanship, and the quiet power of understated elegance. Guests were welcomed into the Savile Row boutique for champagne and a welcome from Huntsman’s Managing Director, Taj Phull, and Parmigiani Fleurier’s CEO, Guido Terreni. Together, they introduced The Art of the Gesture, the guiding theme of the evening, inspired by the meticulous handwork behind both bespoke tailoring and haute horlogerie.

The night unfolded with a private atelier demonstration, offering a rare look at the techniques that shape a Huntsman garment. Guests then moved upstairs to our first-floor salon for a four-course dinner designed to echo the aesthetic codes of Parmigiani Fleurier’s newly revived TORIC collection, from the subtle textures of the menu design to the tactile flourishes referencing punto a mano stitching and the iconic knurled bezel.

Throughout the evening, conversation drew guests into stories from both houses: reflections on elegance, the evolution of dress, and the place of true craftsmanship in a world of accelerating luxury. Parmigiani Fleurier’s Toric Rare Crafts films played quietly in the background, enriching the immersive atmosphere and highlighting the parallels between Swiss watchmaking and Savile Row tailoring.

Representatives from Parmigiani Fleurier, Swiss Gallery and Huntsman were joined by a curated selection of clients and tastemakers, including horological commentator Justin Hast, for what became a warm and insightful celebration of personal style. Our sincere thanks to our partners at Parmigiani Fleurier for helping create an evening that beautifully honoured the heritage and future of both our crafts.
