When one of the world’s most iconic faces challenged Huntsman to recreate a beloved vintage cloth, we were glad to oblige.
Lauren Hutton is revered worldwide for her natural sense of style. A long-standing patron and friend of Huntsman, this new, exclusive tweed is inspired by a remnant of cloth that Ms Hutton had brought to the team at 11 Savile Row.
Whilst her original vintage design was only enough to create a single jacket with its origin unknown, Ms Hutton worked alongside the Huntsman team to painstakingly recreate the cloth in a more contemporary weight. Now, we’re pleased to offer the Hutton tweed exclusively to you.
This tweed has cool, contemporary undertones of brown and grey, with a punchy, playful overcheck in claret, sky blue and subtle hints of aquamarine. It’s a great tweed for springtime tailoring in town and lends itself perfectly to blazers, skirt suits or even a mid-weight overcoat.
